Healthiest wishes to all on International Yoga Day 2017.
I had the privilege of taking a special yoga class for over 100 ladies at The Yoga Institute in Santa Cruz east on IYD 2017. It was a 2 hour session that involved a lot of encouraging and motivating talk, asking them to take up yoga for their health and well being. I offered them tips for everyday wellness, and taught them simple aasans that they can start with at home without the help of a professional teacher. A basic yoga, pranayam and relaxation session was conducted to give them a taste of how good yoga can make one feel. Each one of them left the session a little more enlightened about the benefits and techniques of yoga, and keener to take it up on a regular basis.
