Shashi brings so much variety and variation in every class, that in the two years of being her student at Yoga Central, I feel like I have never repeated a single asana! Her focus on pranayama and breathwork centers the racing mind, first thing in the morning for me. Her classes have a rhythm that allows space to stretch, strengthen, relax and build flexibility not just in the muscles of the body, but also of the mind.
Every class of hers is a wholesome early-morning experience. It leaves one with an expanded sense of consciousness, cognition and awareness to get through the uncertainties of the day. For me, her classes are like a re-fuel station in that sense, from where I derive my morning source of energy and happy endorphins!
